As a passionate advocate for technological innovation, I recently had the privilege of leading a 10-day instructor-led program on blockchain at Vels Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai. This immersive course was designed to empower 2nd-year students specializing in Machine Learning, Computer Science, and Data Science with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the dynamic world of blockchain technology.

Day 1-3: Laying the Foundation The journey began with laying a solid foundation in blockchain technology. We explored the fundamentals, dissecting the intricacies of decentralized ledgers, cryptographic principles, and consensus mechanisms. Through interactive lectures and hands-on exercises, students gained a comprehensive understanding of how blockchain works and its potential applications across various industries.

Day 4-6: Real-world Applications As we progressed, we delved into real-world applications of blockchain, with a focus on sectors such as Healthcare and Supply Chain Management.
